Thousands of recruiters can benefit from award-winning IR35 services at exclusive prices

Qdos is pleased to announce that it has been selected as the exclusive IR35 partner of  The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), as the two organisations help the recruitment industry prepare for and manage off-payroll changes (IR35 reform).

In less than five months time, on 6th April 2021, IR35 reform will be introduced in the private sector. Medium and large businesses will become responsible for determining the ‘IR35 status’ of contractors, with fee-paying recruitment agencies to be transferred the IR35 liability.

The partnership will see the REC’s 3,300 recruitment business members and 10,500 individual recruiters able to benefit from Qdos’ range of award-winning IR35 services at special rates.

This includes access to The Qdos Status Review facility, which is an industry-first comprehensive solution designed to help recruiters successfully implement off-payroll reform.

Qdos is currently supporting over 2,200 businesses with their IR35 processes, through this service.

Qdos CEO, Seb Maley, commented:

“We’re delighted to have been chosen as the exclusive IR35 partner of the REC, who have championed best practice and compliance in the recruitment industry for decades. Now, with less than five months until IR35 reform is rolled out in the private sector, through this partnership, thousands of recruitment agencies can make use of our award-winning IR35 services to ensure they are ready for April 2021. In doing so, and by taking the right steps, recruiters can manage the risks of IR35, retain contractors, minimise disruption for all parties and strengthen relationships with key clients.”

The REC CEO, Neil Carberry, added:

“Covid has left recruiters with very little bandwidth to deal with many of the other important issues we need to deal with. Changes to IR35 in the private sector are just around the corner. The potential financial cost of getting it wrong is high – so it is vital that recruiters are ready to hit the ground running on 6 April.”

“We’re pleased to be boosting the support on offer to our members through our new partnership with Qdos. This means that in addition to the comprehensive webinars, template documents and legal advice our team offers as part of membership, REC members can get extra support by using Qdos’ specialist IR35 services at a discounted rate. Helping to guide our members through these changes to contractor taxation is a priority for us, and Qdos can help firms get ready so recruiters can get back to the essential work of driving our economic recovery.”

Qdos is supporting over 2,200 businesses, helping them navigate changes to the off-payroll working rules. The Qdos Status Review facility provides a range of expert IR35 solutions, including IR35 status reviews and IR35 insurance, to allow businesses to compliantly place and engage contract workers.
