Qdos prepares for IR35 reform with appointment of former HMRC inspector

Leading IR35 advisor, Qdos, has today announced the appointment of former HMRC Inspector, Nigel Nordone, as its new Head of Tax as it strengthens its team considerably ahead of the arrival of private sector reform in April 2020.

Nigel has specialised in IR35 since its inception and joins Qdos with a wealth of employment tax legislation and compliance experience. Having worked at HMRC for over two decades, Nigel then spent more than 10 years working as a Senior Tax Consultant at a leading Fee Protection Provider where he successfully represented numerous contractors in IR35 enquiries.

With a broad range of IR35 skills - from handling contract reviews to corporate compliance checks for recruitment agencies and end-clients - Nigel will head up the Qdos Tax Team, which has already shut down two IR35 enquiries in 2019 alone.
