Say hello to our new range of products designed to prepare your business for the 2021 IR35 reform.

We have certainly been busy over the past few months at Qdos and are excited to announce new services available for businesses preparing for IR35 reform in April 2021. While the effects of the Coronavirus have seen the IR35 reform date pushed back to April 2021, the clock is still ticking. With an extra year to prepare it’s important, now more than ever, to ensure you are ready for what 2021 might bring your way. In light of this delay, we believed it was time for an entirely new range of products, tailor-made for just this situation, in addition to our existing services such as IR35 Audits and Status Review – an IR35 assessment service used by over 2,000 clients and agencies.

Audit Refresh:

This is a real belt and braces product. Designed specifically for clients who have already made use of our IR35 Audit product and who, in light of the delays to IR35 reform, require a bit of revaluation.

This product includes a careful consideration of any changes that have been implemented as suggested in the initial audit. This way we can see that any pre-existing problems have been addressed. In addition to this, we also look for any new areas of concern.

Where relevant, we will also go one step further and revisit the provision of services by any managed service providers (MSP). This way we can confirm that the necessary steps are in place to help you identify genuine MSPs from labour only providers.

Outsource MSP Training:

For many businesses it can be difficult to differentiate between a genuine managed service provider and labour-only providers, which can have a huge impact on your IR35 strategy.

Outsource MSP Training will help your personnel learn how to do just this. One of our IR35 specialists will provide some real-life examples based on our extensive experience to enable your chosen personnel to pinpoint labour only providers.

To summarise this product in as few words as possible, it’s designed to mitigate risks in the transfer of IR35 liability by teaching your employees to accurately identify an MSP.

This training can be supplied either on-site or through an online webinar meaning that you don’t have to hold off protecting your company due to COVID-19.

Policy Design:

Creating policies that are IR35 compliant is no easy feat. We can design a range of policies that suit your company and are IR35 compliant to boot. Not only can we create brand new policies for your business, but we can also help you to make any necessary changes to current policies that you have in place. Not forgetting that we will provide periodic updates at your request to reflect required alterations or changes to legislation. This way both your business and all of its employees can continue interacting with contractors in a way that is IR35 compliant.

Procurement process and outsource review:

We know that the line between a genuine managed service provider (MSP) and those that provide labour is far from clear cut. At Qdos we use our years of expertise to help you review any procedures, processes and policies you have in place to engage with MSPs, highlighting any areas that require improvement from a compliance standpoint. The next step we provide is to ensure that the contractual terms for the supply of these services accurately reflects the reality of the engagement.  As part of this service, we help you to actively improve upon your written terms, therefore solidifying the supplier’s stance as a genuine MSP. Giving you that extra peace of mind.

To perhaps oversimplify it, we give you our expert opinion on whether a supplier is a genuine MSP based on extensive research.

Contract Services:

In addition to assisting with IR35 compliance through our new range of products, Qdos can also offer help and assistance with your commercial contractual requirements. When entering into new business terms and conditions, the commerciality and legality of the contract is key. In order to ensure your business has optimum protection and minimal risk and liabilities, it is important to have the best possible business terms and conditions in place.
