Qdos Travel Insurance gives you one annual policy to cover all your travel needs. The policy includes cover for holidays with your family, as well as cover for costs associated with business travel, such as the cost of replacing lost, stolen, or damaged business equipment.

You can extend your cover to include other members of your family, high-risk activities, and winter sports, so you don’t need to take out additional policies.

What does Business Travel Insurance cover?

Trips up to 30 Days
Take as many trips as you like up to 30 days (increase to 60 days on request)

Cover expenses for replacing business equipment or personnel
Emergency Medical Expenses
Up to £10million for emergency medical treatment whilst you’re away
Sports and Activities
Cover for a range of activities such as archery, parasailing, and snorkelling
Baggage and Personal Belongings
Up to £1,500 for if your belongings are lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed
Optional Winter Sports and Higher-Risk Activities Cover
Add cover for winter sports and Level 2 activities
Cancellation and Curtailment
Up to £5,000 cover for pre-paid travel expenses if your trip gets cut short
Pandemic/Endemic Cover (including Covid-19)
If you have to cancel due to a positive test, or require medical support abroad

Business Travel Insurance offers you protection and support whilst you travel for work, as well as leisure trips.

Business cover specifically provides:
  • Up to £1,000 for the travel and accommodation costs of a business partner, director or employee to replace you at a pre- arranged meeting if you’re unable to do attend due to medical disablement
  • Up to £500 for the cost of replacing lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed business equipment, samples or documentation 
  • Up to £1,500 for the loss of fees for conferences abroad

Business Travel Insurance is a particularly useful policy for any contractor or self-employed professional who finds themselves travelling as a part of their job, whether in the UK or overseas.

Qdos Travel Insurance doesn’t provide cover for:

  • manual work involving the use of mechanical or industrial machinery
  • working at a height exceeding 2 metres
  • manual work involving any offshore oil rigs/terminals and any other type of offshore work
